Who lives under the sea/ocean?
About-
Animals that live under the sea or ocean are called Marine Animals. Animals like whale, octopus, shark, sea horse, sting ray, lobster, jelly fish and so on. Here is a colour coding worksheet for children to introduce the concept.
Method-
- Show the worksheet to your child.
- Ask her/him, “What are ‘Marine Animals’?”
- Explain your child- “Animals that live under the sea or ocean are called Marine Animals. Animals like whale, octopus, shark, sea horse, sting ray, lobster, jelly fish and so on.”
- Point at each image below and say the name loudly.
- Now, point at the images again and ask your child, “Which marine animal is this?”
- Show the coloured dot below each image and ask her/him to find same coloured dots in the given ocean/sea picture.
- Help your child to cut the images carefully and ask her/him to paste it carefully on the same coloured dots.
